![]() The new Building Update for Green Hell is arriving on January 23, 2023, and it brings brand-new buildings to the game such as treehouses and more. ![]() If you havn't played the Forest, I would also give that a look, its been around for a lot longer, so more content : Also the approach to those natives, is basically just fighting them, and the whole game is designed around it (traps work well etc etc).It seems like developer Creepy Jar is not done with their amazing Amazon open-world survival game Green Hell just yet because another major update for the game is right around the corner. Instead of being annoyed when a native one shots your wall. The difficulties late game, should be when exploring more/ venturing outside of your base, with natural dangers, like wild animals. I hope that they come up with an alternative to fighting the natives, where you can feel like you have actually overcome the "Green Hell", and setup a good self sufficient base. The game seems to have been designed to make smaller camps, and keep progressing, over setting up a proper "home". They are naturally aggressive towards you, so eventually your base will probably be destroyed (or at least a bit of it). The entire native system is my only real complaint about the game (in its current form/ being early access). The backpack inventory system works well, Having to physically take the items and move them around, feels surprisingly easy.īut they way they have handle the interactions with the natives, pretty much ruins it all. You can carry an appropriate number of items / logs / rocks etc etc. There is no real reason to build anything big. There is enough content (blueprints/ building parts) to keep you entertained for a few hours though.įrom my experiences with the game so far, I enjoyed the building at first, the inventory system is really good, little things, like placing logs into the walls is rewarding. The mechanics are good, but in the current state.
